The Analog Output Module (AOM) is a standard NETWORK 90 module that
mounts in a Module Mounting Unit (MMU) of the system. This
microprocessor-based module generates individual analog output
signals for driving recorders, indicators, or interconnection with
other Process Control Units (PCU). Signals are transmitted via
cable to an Analog Output Termination Unit (TAO) for external use.
The module is compatible with any Process Control Unit
configuration and offers flexible integration into various system
architectures while maintaining reliable performance.
Step 1: Align the Module
- Insert the AOM Module into a standard NETWORK 90 MMU slot
- Slide the module along the plastic guides until fully inserted
Step 2: Secure the Module
- Ensure the faceplate latch clicks into place
- Check that the top and bottom of the molded plastic faceplate are
flush with the MMU rack
- The built-in faceplate latch will hold the module securely
Step 3: Removing the Module
- Squeeze the bottom front plastic frame
- Pull the module outward gently
- Ensure adjacent modules are not disturbed during removal

- Mark the faceplate latch for easy identification
- Include a side view of the MMU to show flush alignment
